The subject of purse inserts came up on one of my Yahoo groups, so I thought I’d make another one and take pictures and type up the pattern. After I came to the end I realized that I needed to make some revisions. I really need to get at some work, so I won’t take the time to make another now. I hope it’s not too confusing with the pictures not matching the words. If you can’t figure it out, let me know and I’ll try to make it a little clearer for you.

As I sit here, looking out my sewing room window, watching the squirrels scurry around in the leaves, in the rain–I wonder what I’m doing… I’m more comfortable sewing than ‘talking’.
I love to sew, I’ve been sewing for forever. I used to do mostly clothing when my kids were small, but now it’s mostly quilting. I grew up with a mom who sewed everything, and saved all scraps for quilts. Now it’s mostly fabric bought specifically for a quilt that I sew with. I sew some things for gifts, and even a few for myself. And I have enough patterns and blocks I want to make, that I’ll need to live at least another couple hundred years to get it all done!
Today I’m working on a tablerunner. It’s a free pattern, and poorly written–some of the cutting instructions aren’t there. So I’m making my notes as I go, so that more complete instructions are there if I ever want to make it again.
And I better get back to it!
